You will set standard and constantly work at maintaining and improving service levels, including:
• Facilities, linens and amenities are always impeccable
• Building and facilities are always optimized for patient and visitor comfort
• All food & beverage services meet and exceed patient and visitor requirement & preferences
• All hospital services are always supplied with all required goods & services
• All the above is done at or above hospital quality standard and within budgetary guidelines
You will lead, guide, coach and oversee the following departments:
• Housekeeping, in charge of cleaning, linens & amenities, led by our Housekeeping Manager
• Food & Beverages, covering in-patient meals, room service, restaurant, coffee shop, doctor’s dining room and events, led by our Executive Chef/ F&B Manager
• Engineering & maintenance, building services, led by our Chief Engineer
• Hospital security, safety and drivers, led by our Chief of Security
• Purchasing, medical and non-medical, led by our Purchasing Manager.
You are in charge of:
• Quality and compliance for all services provided
• Complaints handling and quality improvement projects
• Lead or oversee various development or improvement projects
• People management, working with your departmental managers and HR
• Establishing the department’s budget and managing services to the budget
• Negotiating and managing external services and supply contract, including issue and conflict resolution
• Participating in the hospital overall management, as Head of Department
• Liaise with various external parties in support of your responsibilities
